Sound bath for boosting creativity

You are invited to a Creativity Boosting Sound Bath & Expression Session that will allow you to tap into your inner child, play, express, and go within to get those creative juices flowing.

Connect first and foremost with yourself, along with fellow creative spirits and kind hearts joining you in this exploratory sound and expression session.

Engage in playful practices such as dance, intuitive drawing and writing to unearth your inner storyteller. Then sink into your mat for guided meditation and a 45-minute sound bath that will allow you to go within and connect with what you want to express or create. Instruments used within the sound bath include gongs, Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, drums, chimes + more


HOW DOES SOUND HEALING SUPPORT CREATIVITY?

- When stress levels are lowered, individuals find it easier to access their creative thoughts and ideas or move through creative/energetic blocks that may be holding them back

- Different sound frequencies used in the sound bath influence your brainwave activity, helping you to tap into your subconscious and allow you to access novel or new ideas more freely

- Through a stimulating auditory experience we facilitate the growth of new neural pathways, leading to increased cognitive flexibility, creative thinking and neuroplasticity

- Sound baths & guided meditation support mindfulness, emotional regulation and access to altered states of consciousness, which can do wonders for quietening the inner critic that often holds us back from creating

WHAT THE EVENT WILL INVOLVE:

- Sound bath & guided meditation (45 minutes)

- Intention setting & journaling

- Eyes closed free dance, drawing, story crafting

- A space to connect with yourself and others through movement, sound, creativity and community

- Nibbles & tea

- Sharing Circle (optional)

WHAT TO BRING:

- Yoga mats & cushions available at the venue

- Blankets (limited number available at the venue)

- Eye mask

- Journal /pen

- Water bottle

- Open heart & mind

***You will be lying down for 45 minutes during the sound bath - please bring any items that will help you to feel comfortable that may not be available at the venue***

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. No previous experience in creative practices or sound healing is needed.
